Emergens merges with Inopi
On August 1st Emergens ApS and Inopi AS merged under the name of Inopi AS.
Inopi AS is a Danish company with its offices in Copenhagen focusing on Electronic Document Management solutions and services. Emergens consulting staff have joined Inopi and will continue to service and support old Emergens customers. For more details on Inopi see www.inopi.dk
Inopi´s and Emergens´s service and product portfolios nicely complement each other with both companies focusing on Electronic Document Management solutions. New and creative solutions such as Marketing Campaign to plan, manage and control campaigns will help to sustain the company’s growth.
After the merger Inopi is a strong middle level player on the Danish market for Electronic Document Management. Both companies are GoPro Partners working for many public and private organisations.
Last year ECP International merged its Copenhagen office with Emergens under the name of Emergens. The merger of Emergens with Inopi is a further step towards creating a larger and more competitive operation.
ECP International wishes Inopi AS all the best.

ECP International and KSG join forces in Latvia
ECP International Ltd. and KSG Ltd. are co-operating on management consulting projects in Latvia. Both companies have their special niche to contribute to. KSG has the local knowledge being a Latvian company located in Riga. This knowledge includes the understanding of local business culture and practices in Latvian and Russian and a local network of contacts. ECP brings the international perspective and experience from many projects in other countries and an international network of contacts. Furthermore, ECP having its roots in Iceland, has experience working with small companies operating in a small economy with limited resources to be made the most out of.
The projects so far are mainly in two categories:
Strategic review and reorientation for existing companies.
Latvia is celebrating 14 years of independence now. Many things have changed during those years and are changing even more rapidly now after Latvia joined the EU last year. Latvian businesses face new competitors and challenges. Companies who did well in the past are by no means sure of continuing to do well. They have to take a look at themselves and ask themselves the right questions. It helps to have an outsider to help formulating and asking those questions? Also to help answering them. This is where KSG/ECP come in. Several such projects have been successfully completed and new ones are coming in.
Strategic set up of new companies and partnerships.
It sounds very simple to come to Latvia and set up a daughter company or partnership. But if you look closer there are many things to look at besides legal and administrative issues. Should the company start from scratch or should it buy an existing company or should it go into partnership with an already existing and operating company? There is no simple answer to this question. It depends on industry and each particular business case. Again having an outsider often helps. In case of Icelandic companies the co-operation between ECP and KSG is very valuable. ECP because of its Icelandic roots knows the Icelandic business environment the mother company is coming from and KSG knows the environment it is going into and the local situation. Combined KSG and ECP are a very strong team. Again such projects are in progress and new ones are coming in.
